My name is Rebecca Richardson and I consider myself a 'Photographic Doctor'. This is my blog about all the restorations and fixes I make to photographs. Some of the images are my own but many are other's work. Old images, bandaged to new. Ripped or torn images, stitched back together. Underdeveloped images given a face lift, and so much more. I may take a portrait and you want for certain elements to be fixed or changed. It's all a timing issue. We had to do this shoot on a specific day and time. Being that the dad was in the military, he was coming and going all the time. Our family was due to leave, we're military as well, and they really wanted me to capture their family portrait before I left. The son was due to get his braces off in a month and we were going to be 3000 miles away when that happened. TIMING! So I took the braces out of their favorite image. Wedding Woes

We have all heard stories about bad wedding photography. And maybe it wasn't 'bad' per-say but just not what you expected. I am helping a friend make her wedding pictures top notch. She wanted them done in 'my style'. Right now, she is a bride who was given a disk of all the images but can't simply go down to a print lab, make her own prints to put on her wall and be proud of them. The bottom image could be printed as a 16x20 canvas and put above her fireplace mantel and she will be so proud to look at her and her husband's wedding day and reminisce. It would be easier to say, "Hire me, " for all of your events. But that is not physically possible as many of you live in different cities and parts of the country. I will say, "Hire me," unless you are far away but don't hesitate to have me restore your photographs for you so that you can enjoy them for years to come. Combining Images

This was a beautiful family portrait I did last year. The image was focused on their little explorer. But I couldn't get the toddler to look while having the family posing perfectly- instead of pushing for the perfect shot in camera with a wild toddler, I made the composition I wanted later!
